In 1918, Francesco Argiolas, with the assistance of some prisoners of war, planted their first vineyard. The vineyard has now passed down through three generations and is now run by Franco and Giuseppe Argiolas. They employ one of Italy's leading oenologists, Giacomo Tachis, and manage not only vineyards but olive groves as well.
A traditional Sardinian Aquavita from the acclaimed wine making family, Argiolas. Fill'e Acquavite di Vinaccia Benalonga is obtained from a blend of various types of grapes, mainly red, which give a characteristic robustness typical of the original Sardinian Grappa.
This delicately made grappa shows elegant structure and flavours reminiscent of the original grape varietals. Grappa di Turriga is a Grappa obtained from the pomace of selected Cannonau, Bovale, Carignano and Malvasia nera grapes from the Turriga vinification. It is a colorless and crystalline Grappa, with an elegant aroma and a soft and velvety taste. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 10°C.
