It’s the time of year again when Australian restaurants see if they have been blessed with the honour of being recognised in the 2012 Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards and we were delighted to see a familiar name in the winners announcements again.
The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is nearly here, bringing with it a buzz of excitement in the city. Now in its 19th year, the festival will see over 250 events rolled out over a ten-day period.

Well, the votes have come in for the 2011 Australian Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards and we were thrilled to see two notable mentions in this year’s awards.
