Molinari, producers of the famous Sambuca Extra, was founded in 1945 by Angelo Molinari with the help of his sons Marcello and Mafalda. In the early fifties, Angelo, introduced the idea of adding a toasted coffee bean to a glass of Sambuca, the idea swept Italy, creating huge demand. Today, Molinari sells over six million bottles domestically and is the biggest selling Sambuca producer throughout the world.
