TECHNICAL NOTES
Site
This wine is made from Viura grapes partly from Rioja Alavesa and partly from the Rioja Alta district.
Vinification
The grapes, upon arrival to the winery are protected by a carbon dioxide curtain that avoids any oxidation. The same gas is used for instant cooling of grapes, just before being pressed.
The pressing, carried out in pneumatic presses, is followed by a sedimentation time in vats at low temperatures, in order to clean the must. After this process the fermentation is done using selected yeasts at very low temperatures, enhancing the extraction of white fruit aromas.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Vinification
The tempranillo grapes are fermented in our Oyón cellar in vats with capacity of between 30 and 45 Tm. fitted with the most advanced technology for the strict control of fermentation and maceration temperatures and colour extraction.
Ageing
Minimum 12 months in selected 225-litre, American-oak barrels and at least 6 months in the bottle before release by the wine cellar.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Vinification
The alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with maceration to 18 days and frequent pumping seeking balance between fruit and extract.
Ageing
17 months in American oak barrels of 225 liters. Bottled after three and a half years before its release .
