A composition of Terlano’s three most traditional white varieties, namely Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon, this old cuvée, which was one of the wines produced when the winery was founded, is an extremely complex wine. Pinot Bianco, as the main variety used in the cuvée, provides the freshness and a good acid structure, while Chardonnay delivers a pleasing warmth and mellowness and Sauvignon adds the fine aromatic character.

The Kreuth vineyard, where yields are strictly limited, is located at an altitude of 1,000 feet ASL in well-drained volcanic soil. After a temperature-controlled fermentation in oak barrels this age-worthy wine is matured for 12 months in big oak casks, with 20% of the wine resting in barriques.

Kreuth is pale straw-colored with brilliant highlights. It has aromas of tropical fruits and minerals. It is a full-bodied, perfectly balanced wine that offers flavors of rich pear and apple nectar. Ideal with seafood & poultry.

Cantina Terlano's Gewurztraminer is a wine made from aromatic Gewurztraminer grapes. A grape variety named after the village of Tramin in the lower Atesina region, it has always been a pillar of the region's winemaking tradition. Protected from cold winds by the peaks of the Alps, the vines enjoy a good range of temperatures between day and night that promotes perfect development of the aromas within the berry and that elegance that is hard to forget.

The Gewurtztraminer "Lunare" is the intense, full-bodied expression of South Tyrolean Gewurztraminer, aged for 12 months in barrel. It is a rich and complex aromatic white wine, with notes of exotic fruits, herbs and ginger in evidence, diluted by mineral and spicy whiffs. As soon as it is poured into the glass, the Lunare shows itself in a deep yellow guise. The nose is a profluent of exotic fruit and citrus, among which lychee and grapefruit stand out sharply, and refreshing hints of candied ginger and rose petals. The palate is a pure explosion of aromaticity, entering mightily and caressing the palate by virtue of a persuasive and caressing tactility. Long persistent finish, dragged along by a savoury trace that enlivens the drink.

A blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon from Vorberg, Kreuth and Winkl, matured in big oak barrels for 12 months followed by a further year in the bottle and the addition of a small portion of earlier vintages. Cantina Terlano's objective was to create a cuvée that reveals the very heart of its history and summarizes – in just a few select bottles – the best of Terlano’s wine-making culture; in short, to produce the best Terlaner in the world. Rich and complex on the nose, it develops salty mineral notes on the palate. The wine’s elegance and perfect balance are the product of its remarkable structure and subtle texture. It has an extremely long finish which leaves its mark in memory of the drinker.

It is their individual terroir that make the wines of Terlano so remarkable. Each wine is produced from grapes grown on tiny plots of land owned by the many grape growers that make up the cooperative of Cantina Terlano. The production zone for this alluring Pinot Noir in the tiny Hamlet of Monticol begins at 1,475 feet ASL and climbs to more than 2,125 feet ASL Here the easy draining heat retentive soil and the warm days and cool nights provide ideal conditions to produce the demanding Pinot Nero grape. Monticol is aged 12 months in large oak casks (50%) and small barriques (50%).

This particular wine of the Terlano winery is produced with Lagrein grapes one of the most important vine of the Trentino Alto Adige. It has an aromatic taste with soft tannins which makes it appreciable more and more. This vine is original from Bolzano but since many decades it is cultivated also at Terlano. This wine is produced with 100% Lagrein grapes and the wine has the DOC Alto Adige certification.The Lagrein DOC of the Terlano Winery has a garnet and dark red color. The bouquet is rich of marasca cherry aromas enriched by a floral scent of lilac and cooked bay tree. There are also some flint and chocolate hints. The taste is aromatic with a delicate structure and a refined tannin which give fullness to the wine.
