Winner of 8 Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri Awards
With Tuscan roots going back more than 1,000 years, the Frescobaldi family boasts 700 years of winemaking spanning 30 generations. Records reveal Frescobaldi wine was imported by the English Royal Court as early as the 1300s, and international varieties such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Merlot were introduced to its Tuscan vineyards in 1855. Now comprising nine separate wineries making it the largest in Tuscany, Frescobaldi's combination of tradition and innovation has been recognised with eight Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri Awards.

The Gambero Rosso Wine Guide is considered the Bible of Italian wines. For the 2007 guide, a panel of wine experts tasted 16,000 wines from over 2000 Italian Wineries and awarded just 282 wines the top accolade of 'Tre Bicchieri'.
