Biondi Santi Fattoria il Greppo is a classic tale of 'from small things big things grow'. When Ferruccio Biondi Santi took a Sangiovese clone in the late 19th century and used it to produce the first Brunello, little did he know his grandson would today be producing 70,000 bottles a year. Born of the perfect climate for mature and highly perfumed red wines, Biondi Santi's Brunellos are famous for their incredible capacity to age well.

The Gambero Rosso Wine Guide is considered the Bible of Italian wines. For the 2007 guide, a panel of wine experts tasted 16,000 wines from over 2000 Italian Wineries and awarded just 282 wines the top accolade of 'Tre Bicchieri'.
