For nearly three decades, Gambero Rosso has been at the forefront of Italian wine. Their Vini d'Italia wine guide has been in publication since 1987, but is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this multi-media empire. Also producing guides to feature the best restaurants, bars, cafes and even olive oil, Gambero Rosso additionally produces magazines, apps, world tours and the only wine TV channel in the world.

As the bible for Italian wine lovers around the world, the Vini d'Italia wine guide consists of over 1,000 pages and features 2,350 wineries, all of which are rated through a mix of blind tastings, judging panels and regional representatives. Wines that attain over 90 points are awarded the illustrious Tre Bicchieri (three glass) status and become branded as being of the highest quality. Barely 400 hundred wines of the 40,000 tasted annually manage to be awarded the Tre Bicchieri.

Since the first edition of the Vini d’Italia guide, Gambero Rosso has organised events around the world to promote quality Italian wine. The Tre Bicchieri World Tour is the premiere Italian wine showcase, featuring only wines that have been awarded the coveted Tre Bicchieri award in the latest Vini d’Italia guide. This is the first time the tour has visited Australia, and is an amazing opportunity to taste the most highly awarded and regarded Italian wines.

Arquilla Wines are proud that the following wines will be on offer during the showcase:
