London Sommelier Wine Awards 2011
Organised by Imbibe magazine, the London Sommelier Wine awards is an event targeting the industry's most influential restaurant and wine shops. The judges not only awarded the 2009 Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Is Argiolas a prestigious Silver medal but also awarded the 2009 Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Iselis Bianco a coveted Gold medal, a superb achievement considering they assess and classify thousands of wines from around the world.
Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2011
The phenomenal ‘world championship’ for wines and liqueurs, Concours Mondial in Brussels, Belgium, awarded a Silver medal in their Red Wine category to the 2009 Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Iselis Rosso, making it the only wine from Sardinia to be awarded a prize in 2011.
Turriga among the best wines of Central and Southern Italy
Reviewer Antonio Galloni from erobertparker.com, recently published his classification of wines from Central and Southern Italy. The 2006 Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Turriga received no less than 94 points, the 2007 Isola dei Nuraghi IGTAngialis scored 93 and the 2009 Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Is Argiolas and the 2009 Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Iselis Bianco received 91, an exceptional result.
