Leone de Castris has been accoladed at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2013 with a silver medal for their 50° Vintage Salice Salentino Rosso Doc Riserva 2009.

Florentine winery Tenuta I Collazzi have been praised by prominent wine journalist James Suckling, who gave their 2010 Collazzi an outstanding score of 95/100. Suckling said that it was an “amazing Bordeaux blend” that was the “best red ever”. He also awarded the Collazzi vintages from 1999 through to 2009 with scores above 90/100.
The accolades did not end there however, with James Suckling going on to favourably review the Libertá, a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese. With a score of 91/100 for the 2011 vintage, Suckling called it a “fun blend” with a “ripe dark fruit character”.
